It all started with a summer camp, and grew into a business. Entranced with her camera the second it was placed in her hands, freelance photographer Karis Lai delights in the creative freedom and story capturing ability that photography has introduced into her life. Beyond personal fulfillment, Karis strives to take high quality photos for an amazing price.
Karis is currently a Sophomore at Rice University. When she’s not with her camera she can be found singing with the Rice Philharmonics or on worship team, writing and reading, or enthusiastically discussing philosophy.
Karis has done work for:
Girl Scouts
The Wilberforce School
Nuvo Beauty Lounge
Montgomery Charity Foundation
International School System
Princeton Photo Workshop
and more!
Karis taught at Princeton Photo Workshop’s Photography Camp for Teens Summer of 2023 for both sessions.
